A talented all-round athlete, Kevin participated in track and field, wrestling, and football at Whites Creek High School in Nashville, Tennessee. Coach Kevin is entering his 8th year of coaching youth track & field. His motivation to coach comes from the realization that the multi-sport events are coach driven, and the discipline of track & field demands a teacher, an instructor, and a coach. As a coach at the USATF and AAU levels, Coach Kevin has consistently produced many national qualifiers of all ages and in various individual events, including running, field, and multi-events. Several of these national qualifiers have finished top in the state, ranked among the top ten and twenty in their respective age groups on the national level, and have earned national championship medals in individual running and throwing events at the AAU Junior Olympic Track & Field Games. Additionally, many of his athletes have gone on to compete at the collegiate level. Coach Rainer is entering her 4th year coaching sprints and field events. As a former high school track & field athlete, Coach Rainer has in-depth knowledge of sprinting and middle distance running. She also has experience with hurdle training. Coach Rainer is a certified USA Track & Field Level I coach and as one of the first members of the club, she had played an instrumental role in the rapid growth of Trial By Fire Youth Track & Field Club. Coach Biggers is entering his 2nd year coaching sprint and field event. During his time at Marshall County High, Lewisburg, TN, he was a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, first ever underclassman to win the Tiger 10 football award for the Team’s Most Valuable Player. Colby was awarded the District 9AA Offensive Player of Year on two separate occasions; three times 1st Team All-District Selection, Member of the All-Mid State Team, Two- time All-State honorable mention. Multiple Division-I Universities recruited him before suffering a severe knee injury that ended his football career. Colby attended Middle Tennessee State University on an academic scholarship, graduating with a BA Degree in English. Colby has coached Youth Flag and Tackle Football for 8 seasons with 7 undefeated seasons and 2 Undefeated TYFA State Championships. He has helped to develop Nationally Ranked Athletes in Track and Field through mental preparation, strength training, and conditioning. Coach Biggers motto is "Refuse to be outworked" and "Lead from the front".

The Trial By Fire Youth Track & Field Club is a nonprofit organization governed by a Board of Directors, primarily consisting of parents and coaches. The Board, with the advice of coaches, the parent-body, and a advisory committee, make decisions regarding affiliations, scheduling, registration fees, fundraising, fund allocation and other important business matters.
